Storm the Fort

Aye, nay, go away
The choice to resist, submit, evade
Contradict, explain, ridicule
Your opinion bears no impression on mine

Let the weak crumple to pressure
The lost cling on to feel better
The opportunists big up their stature
My resolve does not falter

The power of the human mind
To analyse, deconstruct, organize
Take cause and effect into consideration
Commit to an urge with discretion

To gain, there’s always something to lose
To ascertain, avoid the obvious biased clues
To contain, do away with conflicting views
To train, allow for an amiable truce

Without options we are slaves
Guided from birth to our graves
Beware the power of suggestion
Nothing is infallible to question
