Will you be the mountain
from which I can’t descend
The river that twists and rages
inspiring me to courageous acts
The forest so plentiful yet deadly
freeing me to bare myself

Will you be the wind
that teaches me to persevere
the rain that floods and cultivates
forging in me a love that shares

Will you be the light
that glows to soften the dark
warm the frigid in all of us
Will you be the truth
that reveals more than lies deny
Will you be the hope
Instilling calm reserve
A soothing undercurrent
enriching every quark of life
with ease
